We’re Dani & Asher, two Kiwi’s who after spending 5 years living in London, decided to head home the slow way. We bought a 36 foot sailing boat called Bacchus, built a rowing and sailing dinghy Pīwakawaka and headed towards the horizon. We’ve sailed the south coast of England, the Atlantic coasts of France, Spain and Portugal, the Canary Islands and after a looooong trip across the Atlantic Ocean we ended up in the Caribbean. We free-dived with turtles, hiked volcanoes and had a blast on the coco palm lined, white sandy beaches before the unexpected happened. The world was hit by a pandemic. We’ve made it as far as Panama, the half-way mark on our journey home and we’re not entirely sure what happens next. We may get home this year, or maybe it will be next but we are Sailing Bacchus Home ⛵️ Music: www.bensound.com

www.jeanneauaustralia.com Forerunner in Walk Around (WA) designs, Jeanneau again demonstrates its leadership with the Cap Camarat 8.5WA. Its dynamically fluid design makes this an elegant boat, perfectly suited to coastal cruising and fishing. Ultra-seaworthy and single- or twin-engined, it achieves everything it sets out to, with an uncluttered cockpit, plenty of room, generous sunbathing platform and real comfort for 4.

That is the question number one I have heard in my trip. And don’t expect any magical answer. I work and use my money wisely. Sorry to disappoint you but the biggest trick about traveling long term is learning how to save and spending as less as possible in every major cost. I volunteer, I use couchsurfing, I hitchhike, I camp, I cook my food, but in the end of the equation you will always need a bit of money to pay visas, cover your entertainment and not starve on the road. After working for a year in Austrália and New Zealand I traveled 2 years without working. Thanks for watching!
