We’re Dani & Asher, two Kiwi’s who after spending 5 years living in London, decided to head home the slow way. We bought a 36 foot sailing boat called Bacchus, built a rowing and sailing dinghy Pīwakawaka and headed towards the horizon. We’ve sailed the south coast of England, the Atlantic coasts of France, Spain and Portugal, the Canary Islands and after a looooong trip across the Atlantic Ocean we ended up in the Caribbean. We free-dived with turtles, hiked volcanoes and had a blast on the coco palm lined, white sandy beaches before the unexpected happened. The world was hit by a pandemic. We’ve made it as far as Panama, the half-way mark on our journey home and we’re not entirely sure what happens next. Hey Babe has lived in a shed sheltered form harmful elements and shows like a much newer boat, very clean inside and out. Pride of owner shows throughout, even the engine compartment is spotless. It's always better to buy a boat that is well looked after. Commanders are locally built and well suited for cruising up and down the coast all year round. They are a solid high quality build. The Volvo diesel engines are economical to run and only have 1415 hours. There are weaver davits and a kicker bracket on the swimgrid which also has a transom door leading to the spacious cockpit. The salon features a portside galley complete with a 3 burner propane princess stove/oven. The dinette converts to a berth as does the settee. The lower helm has a ray marine radar and a GPS, VHF radio. The forward stateroom features a very large V berth. The spacious enclosed head has a shower. The bridge deck has a center helm with a captains chair and two back to back fold down seats and a fold away bimini. Other features include, smart plug shore power cable, rod holders, windlass with a Bruce anchor, trim tabs, diesel and bus heat, 4 spare props, racor fuel filters, fish and bait lockers. Open For Business during the Coronavirus, COVID - 19 Pandemic I am here for your yachting needs. Per the government mandate I moved my office from Harbor Island to my master bedroom making sure i'm here for you and my clients during these unsettling times. Hearing and seeing many of the people that we have helped buy a boat over the years now being so grateful that they have this venue available during this CoronaVirus situation, that they suddenly realize many others do not have, has made us so thankful that we were able to be a part of providing that for them. That being said, we want you to know that even though our locations are not open due to the current statewide restrictions, that does not mean we are not open. In fact quite the opposite. All our staff are still working their regular hours and available via phone, email or through our website to carry on the majority of our business that we do every day. We are all eager and want to continue to help you realize whatever your boating dreams are and I hope you will allow me to continue to do that. On a positive note I have secured a production spot for a new client on a Bali 4.8 this last week and just delivered a New Jeanneau 410 Sun Odyssey along with the first time ever a virtual delivery showing my client the yacht and exchanging the final payment and paperwork via a wire transfer and email's. I wish you and your family health and happiness during these times and know there is no better isolation then being out on the water enjoying this precious life we where given.
