Ever wondered what it really takes to quit the 9–5, move onto a sailing boat and sail around the world with your family? Come and meet us at the Southampton International Boat Show, where for the first time a group of sailing creators and YouTubers will be coming together to share the reality of life afloat - the adventures, the mistakes, the breakdowns and the bits that don't normally make it onto Instagram. There’ll be live talks, podcasts, Q&As and daily giveaways, with sailors who have made the leap in all sorts of ways: solo sailors, couples, cruising families and people who simply decided there had to be more to life than the daily commute. We’ll be there too. Mothership Adrift - Irenka and Woody - spent eight years sailing around the world with our three children aboard our Amel Super Maramu. We'll be giving talks about what long-term family cruising is really like, what we learned along the way and what happens when the adventure eventually ends and you have to come home. And I’ll also be launching my new book: IF YOU WANT TO DO IT. DO IT! A memoir, a guide and a cautionary tale about eight years sailing around the world with three kids - and what it really takes to escape the rat race. If you’ve ever dreamed about living aboard a yacht, cruising with children, sailing around the world, escaping the 9–5 or simply designing a different kind of life, come and say hello. 🎟️ Southampton International Boat Show tickets: https://southamptonboatshow.seetickets.com/content/ticket-options 💷 Discount code: SIBS26-3895 📖 Book / pre-order: https://www.alanwoodywood.com/books/doit ▶️ Mothership Adrift: https://www.mothershipadrift.com/ See you on the pontoon.
