I'm putting together a series of one minute short films, whilst I work on a bigger project on my local foxes. This first one minute short is about my local moor and a lovely young Roe Deer. Goss Moor is the largest remaining area of mid-Cornwall moorland and is a National Nature Reserve with a multi-use trail. The mostly flat valley basin is the source of the River Fal. A designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation, the reserve is home to many rare species including Cornish Moneywort, yellow Centaury, Cornish Pillwort, marsh Clubmoss, small red damselfly, variable damselfly and the marsh Fritillary butterfly.
We were out on the water today with Principal Race Officer, Peter 'Luigi' Reggio, to watch the start of practice racing in Porto Cervo. The RC44 Porto Cervo Cup is the second event of the 2017 RC44 Championship Tour, which pits the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high-performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.
