Tack the boat, turn downwind and sail back down and slightly past the victim so that you will approach from a downwind position. Position the victim on the windward side of the boat. If you're learning to sail, you should know this information before venturing out. When turning on engines, always check for lines in the water that can entangle the prop. I can make you one of these if you like. I have some live-edge slabs still available. Shoot me a message. I milled these hardwood slabs back on the farm before I left. They are Mountain Ash. I finished them here in the marina and they work great on a sailboat or rv...or anywhere that you need a small table that pivots out of the way.
