“…the urgent issues we must act on immediately are, first, mining, and second, (plastic) waste. These are not distant problems - they are right in front of us..." -BLUD UPTD Management Unit for the Marine Conservation Area (KKP) of Raja Ampat Islands, during an online public meeting. The impact is real. Raja Ampat is in danger. Plastic waste is already choking its crystal-clear waters and now, mining threatens to scar the very landscapes we call paradise. ➡️ Coral reefs which some of the richest on Earth are struggling. ➡️ Marine life is at risk. ➡️ The Last Paradise might not stay untouched for long... But it’s not too late. Let’s support sustainable travel and protect what makes Raja Ampat magical. Let’s keep it wild. Let’s keep it untouched. #KeepRajaAmpatUntouched #LiveaboardIndonesia #RajaAmpat #TheLastParadise #SaveRajaAmpat #SustainableTravel #PlasticPollution #RajaAmpatLiveaboard
