Cruising sailors tend to prefer things like swimming from their boat; Racing sailors prefer the water on top of their boat instead; They will spend as much money on sails as their boat is worth; They will sail so close together you could jump to the next boat; They will remove their dodger so they can fully enjoy all that water on top of their boat; They will crawl onto a pitching foredeck to lash down a sail because they don’t have a furler; They will climb onto the boom to install a reef line so they don’t have to slow the boat down; They will fly a spinnaker in 20 knots of wind or more; They won’t even bother taking down their own spinnaker, and will just let God do it; And they will do all of this whether it’s day or night, regardless of whether they can see or not; All for getting their boat’s name engraved on some stupid trophy, and getting some yellow flags to boast about their accomplishments, and for some unforgettable moments with friends - priceless!!! Il Corso Skipper 1°Comando è rivolto a tutti coloro che, con una buona conoscenza delle manovre fondamentali della barca e della navigazione, desiderano partecipare ad una full-immersion di una settimana di navigazione nel bacino di mare compreso tra Italia, Slovenia e Croazia. Il Corso viene organizzato per consentire all’allievo comandante di acquisire l’esperienza nella preparazione di crociere costiere in condizioni di sicurezza anche con cattivo tempo e in navigazione notturna. Il corso è particolarmente adatto per coloro che sono in procinto di iniziare il corso di patente nautica e per coloro che pur avendo superato l’esame di patente, non hanno ancora acquisito l’esperienza sufficiente per condurre in autonomia un’imbarcazione da crociera. Il programma comprende 6 giorni di navigazione durante i quali gli allievi si alterneranno al comando effettivo della barca sotto la guida dei nostri istruttori per acquisire la competenza idonea al comando.
