As Super-yachts go, they do not come much nicer than this, built at the famous Privilege Shipyard in Les Sables-d’Olonne in France, graced with an envious pedigree of a long line of quality built catamarans. There really are very few catamarans in this class built to this kind of standards these days and a rarely available example. With build times stretching to over two years with many manufacturers, there is a great chance to get what you want now before your too old to enjoy it! Her beautiful lines and curves give her an outstanding first impression and being a catamaran space on board compared to a conventional superyacht of comparable length is mind-blowing. With her white sails billowing and feeling the powerful surge as she leaps forward, she really is a sight that stirs the unbridled passion of any sailor Being an immensely sought after vessel, she will be sold quickly to the first discerning buyer, that will immediately fall in love with her. Combined ultimate luxury coupled with a performance for a catamaran this size little is compromised in the construction and interior finished and attention to detail is second to none. This is a true ocean crosser, ideal to explore the world's oceans in comfort and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime. Professionally Skippered from new she has always been in safe hands and her current owner has had no expense spared in keeping her in first class condition. This one is fully loaded with every option and more! This amazing catamaran is based on mainland Spain within a reasonable driving distance of both Alicante and Murcia Airports. Lift out facilities are close by for an inspection and all services. This is a rare opportunity to purchase such an amazing yacht, don’t let this one slip through your fingers…. Year: 2011
Alfred Mylne may have peaked when he designed the River Class over 100 years ago. The beautify old ladies of the lough make the Bottom Up Boats crew smile every time we glide by them on the race course. Her lines are timeless with her big boom holding out a main that powers her along in any conditions. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying some of the sort clips from our 2025 racing season. Not long now until the boats are in the water once again. Bring on the 2025 summer of sailing.
This is definitely the Calm Before the Storm! We made our way to Marsh Harbour early this morning to hopefully find a good anchorage in anticipation of the weekend's big blow. Forecasted to be in upwards of 60kn, it's at least 20kn more than we've experienced. That's a LOT OF WIND! Suffice it to say, Marsh Harbour wasn't vacant. We were able to find, what we hope to be, a nice hole between some sailboats. To our aft are the folks from Sailing Zephyr...very cool. Anyways, we're confident in our ground tackle but you always have to worry about other boats dragging. Our anchor is a Spade 160 and is oversized for our boat...that said, if there's an abrupt wind shift of 180º, all anchors will have to reset themselves. This is definitely the Calm Before the Storm
