Made out of a bicicle pump! The idea is to use the one way valve that every bicicle pump has on its piston, to improve the performance of the gun, instead of using loose pistons as usually. I know the difference may not be crucial but it's for the sake of well-design. The piston is too heavy but seems to prove the theory. At only 75psi it shoots a 0,2g 6mm plastic bb through a steel (yes, steel. This is Europe) coke can. Filled with water it pierces the can and leaves a mark on the other wall. Air leak detected, soon to be fixed. UPDATE 20150719 Air leak was fixed with teflon tape. Cannon was intended to be tested to 10bar / 145psi. At 8bar / 116psi the back bursted off the main body, propelling it against a wall, with the cannon hitting at a great speed. Result is a bent cannon. Speed doesn't seem to have decreased but precision has been seriously affected. Plans for now are to test the energy at 75psi (like this teaser shows), then cut the cannon to the unbent part (which is about half the lenght), glue the back permanently and test energy again at 75psi to see the relationship between cannon lenglt and muzzle energy. Afterwards, with the back end fully glued, repeat tests at 116psi / 8bar and hopefully get the same energy as full-lenght-cannon @ 75psi. If not, test pressure until total burst, or the desired energy achieved. Advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks for watching! A FewFriendsFace production Likeyright FFF2015 All likes reserved

Prepare to embark on an extraordinary underwater odyssey with Dr. Adrian Munguia-Vega to join a groundbreaking expedition for the fourth consecutive year. This isn't just any diving trip – it's a thrilling plunge into the heart of deep-sea marine biodiversity, where science meets adventure in the pristine waters of the Revillagigedo Archipelago. You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge marine research, wielding the power of non-invasive environmental DNA (eDNA) to unlock the hidden secrets of the archipelago's biodiversity. Picture yourself as a scientific detective, collecting water samples that hold microscopic traces to the presence of elusive marine species. With each sample, you're contributing to a groundbreaking ecological baseline that's reshaping our understanding of this underwater paradise. But the true adventure lies in the unexplored depths. Brace yourself as we deploy state-of-the-art sampling devices into the abyss, plunging up to 300 meters into mysterious marine canyons and never seen underwater seascapes. These high-tech marvels, equipped with depth recorders and video cameras, will be your eyes and ears in a realm few humans have ever witnessed. As we go deeper, you'll discover that the twilight zone between 80-280 meters harbors a hidden world teeming with life – a parallel universe of biodiversity waiting to be explored. You will also have the opportunity to learn to identify and record up to forty species of fish, sharks and rays as we will be making visual underwater counts of the species to complement and validate the DNA samples. This research is in addition to the diving itinerary and guests can participate as much or as little as they like.

I couldn't believe how well it sailed. You could have some serious fun with this, especially in big breeze." -------------------------- ** The Tiwal story ** * The Birth of Tiwal * As a girl, the first time our founder Marion Excoffon was told, “No!” by her father when she asked to use the family boat, her life as an inventor began. It was then she started dreaming of building her own craft, an ambitious feat that would come true years later. On the road to creating an innovative high-speed vessel for everyone from kids and first timers to expert sailors who want to test limits, there were a number of prototypes, failures, challenges and headaches. But, if there’s one thing Marion’s known for, it’s her sailor’s grit! * Combining Fun & Technology * The award winning Tiwal concept is easy assembly and storage - maximum fun and performance for watersports and activities. A Tiwal isn’t your average dinghy! Our design is the result of tons of coordination, talent, and technological savvy. * A Growing Global Community * For our community of Tiwal skippers (more than 2,500 worldwide!) all this innovative design means their focus is fixed on the pleasures of watersports and having tons of fun on a responsive sailing craft. With excellent upwind and downwind abilities combined with high-speeds, Tiwals are a part of both fun and professional performance.
