In May 2019, the 3rd PAPA Regatta took place for the first time in Croatia. Although the weather was unusually cool and overcast for the season, it brought steady winds — ideal conditions for competitive sailing. While there was no time for swimming, no one had to sit idle waiting for the wind either. The action never stopped. Seagull is flying high in this one. We make a scheduled stop at Mayflower Marina for a quick lift and hold. We used the jet wash free of charge to give her bottom a good scrub, greased the propeller and cleaned the anodes. All was fine so she went straight back in the water. Excellent summer package deal, thanks Mayflower Marina. Our Coppercoat application continues to impress us with it's performance. The only fouling we had was on our keel cooled fridge and bolts on the anode, which have no protection. We would never go back to ablative antifoul.
