I've been sailing since I was a teenager, starting with dinghies, though I took a long break from sailing altogether. Now, aboard a 40-foot boat, I've realized the importance of staying fit as I navigate this less nimble vessel. Sailing a bigger boat comes with greater challenges, where a knockdown can have much more serious consequences. But it`s never too late to learn! and I am learning a lot! The J109 was in a good spot at the start of the regatta. It was a perfect day for sailing and close racing between all the boats. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the short bits from the 2025 racing season and the sailboat action!.
