The cracked part I pointed out is BMW part number 51221817032, "Circlip", on parts diagram page: bodywork - trunk lid - trunk lid/closing system. If you can't get in through your back seats at all, apparently dealers drill a hole under the license plate to reattach the mechanism, which I think this video should be a useful reference for. The GC32 Mar Menor Cup - the grand finale of the 2021 season - was also a grand farewell to the leaders of the Red Bull Sailing Team. Double Olympic gold medalists Roman Hagara and Hans Peter Steinacher are lowering the sail on their competitive racing careers after the event. The Austrian team arrived in Mar Menor on a high after their triumph at the GC32 World Championship in Villasimius. Some of the GC32 Class sailors share some of their favourite memories of sailing with and against the duo over the years!
