Sadly the shop closed in early 2018 after serving the boating community of North Wales from Conwy Marina for more than 20 years. Let this video be a reminder no matter how good you are at keeping a marine shop stocked, sometimes things go against you, and it is time to move on. Progress continues on Hull #006 as this classic Hinckley Picnic Boat 37 moves closer to the finish line. This week in the shop: • Hull fully faired and in final prep for paint • Structural glasswork largely complete, including a fully re-glassed engine room with new stringers engineered for the repower • New helm pod fabrication underway • Varnish nearing completion — all sealer coats finished, final build coats up next • Twin Volvo D6 480HP diesels have arrived from W.W. Williams and Power Products and have been test-fit with the new stringer layout We’re excited to partner with Raymarine on their latest electronics and digital switching, and Volvo for their marine diesel power solutions. Stay tuned as this PB37 continues to come together.

On a hike up to the Maunawili Falls Trail, through heat, mosquitoes and the treacherous landscape, we finally reached the Falls for a refreshing dip in ice cold water. Crystal jumped in with some coaxing, and I captured it on film.
