Sadly the shop closed in early 2018 after serving the boating community of North Wales from Conwy Marina for more than 20 years. Let this video be a reminder no matter how good you are at keeping a marine shop stocked, sometimes things go against you, and it is time to move on. Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped Dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it! Porto Montenegro is a 2 hour drive to Kolasin, a really nice little skiing town high in the picturesque mountains, what's even better is the marina has their own ski chalet which we can book free of charge!
