We got incredibly lucky sailing through Hervey Bay when these 2 whales swam towards the boat, we stopped the boat and these whales put on a phenomenal show for 40 minutes. They seemed very inquisitive and genuinely interested in us.

We just completed our biggest boat refit ever. We removed our old Yanmar engines and replaced them with new Nanni N4.50s. We did all the work ourselves while we were still in the water, fibreglassing new engine beds and then aligning the prop shafts before connecting the electronics up to the helm. We had a bit of a scare in our first sea trial when one engine suddenly died but it's nothing we can't overcome so join us on the journey as we figure it out and get back to sailing to remote islands again.
