Four Winns has used the Miami Boat Show to introduce this new cuddy cabin model, the Sundowner 265. This is the RS version with this green and black trim and it has a lot of options on the sunpad which are really cool. You can prop the back up like this for a back rest, lift it up for a walk through, and of course fold it flat. The middle section can also be raised for a backrest going this way. We also like this tambor door on the cabin that rolls right up into the overhead. It saves a lot of space. It even has an enclosed head compartment. Lapwing is an L34 that sails out of Cape Town and is owned by Angela Collins. on our shake down sail we were surprised by the shackle that secures the boom suddenly bursting open and falling off leaving the boom swinging. Luckily we had only a light breeze. Then to our disappointment the foresail would not go up the tracks on the forestay. That will have to be fixed. The winches are not working well but that could be caused by old stiff lines that are sliding instead of gripping. #sailing #lifeisbutadream
