At Lagoon, celebrations are taking place throughout 2024, having started in March with the presentation of the Lagoon 60 at their Bordeaux site and continued with the Lagoon Escapade. Over the long weekend of May 17, 18 and 19, no fewer than 30 owners’ rendezvous were held simultaneously all around the world (well, almost simultaneously, ignoring the time difference...). In all, 300 Lagoons and 1,500 crew celebrated this anniversary. Some days are loud… but this one wasn’t. This one was perfect. A slow start on the boat, followed by joining the Buren Bay community to clean the beach, a healthy lunch at Yadon Care at the tip of Uken Inlet, and a gentle sunset that seemed to say, “Well done today.” It reminds me that the smallest moments, solo silence, shared work, healthy food, quiet sunset, end up feeling like the big ones.
