J109 Going to Red was in the presence of sailing royalty during the Harbour Race of Cork Week 2024. After rounding the harbour mark off the main city Going to red cross, the two time winner of the famous Fastnet race on a two sail reach across the harbour front. I visit Turkey very regularly, and as far as yacht building is concerned I’ve just about seen it all; from spectacular, modern state of the art facilities to yachts being built in a field surrounded by cows 🐮🐮🐮 Before you fly over to check out a yacht that you are considering buying, it’s advisable to do a little research. My team and I recently visited the ARES Shipyard and were extremely impressed both by the facilities and by their heritage in building rugged military craft. This is a shipyard well worth visiting!
