PREPARING COCKPIT: Singlehanded Docking Stern To with Lazy Lines Value of set up is often under-rated. Here's video 4 in Nicks step by step process getting set up and ready for Singlehanded Docking Stern To with Lazy Lines. =========================== Watch the full video here - https://youtu.be/-OPs960oR88 Transcript: I'm also going to make sure that my everything's ready. That there's nothing in the cockpit that's going to interrupt me. So like I've got these lovely cushions down here for the photo shoot. That's great. But I'm going to want to step up over these if I want to get out of this side of the cockpit with the line. So I'm getting rid of that uh the tables are up and there's nothing going to fall off here. I'm going to do this other side pillow as well. Also preparing me. All right. I'm going to get warm doing this. So I don't need this jacket on anymore. As much as I love wearing the brand -then double checks! What do I need ready. I need my bow thrusters and Stern thrusters ready. If I've got them and I want to use them they're turning on. Just make sure there's no switches that need to go on all of a sudden. I double check my lines. Yes these are all set up. Fenders, fenders nothing slipped off. And always check this! Make sure this is not actually caught up. The number of times I put that line out first then tied this fender on and it's hooked under it so just always double check! =========================== Filmed and Edited by Mahina Hathaway and Nick Hathaway, 45 Degrees Sailing Looking to sail in Croatia? How We Unload Motorcycle From Big Rig. Our Bike Lift for Truck takes:45 seconds! We live on the road Full-time in a semi-truck and have a bike lift attached. In this video, we show YOU how we unload our motorcycle from our big rig. We have had to do a lot of modifications, including installing a 3500lb winch—(It came with 2500), and it really struggled. Our bike is a 2007 Heritage Softail which weighs about 800lbs. About Us: We are a Travel Vlogging Couple Exploring the Less Traveled Places in the USA From the Seat of our Big Rig! Welcome to Me and The Kiwi: This is the story of how two midlifers met on a three-hour flight from Nashville to Denver, became smitten with each other, fell ridiculously in love, and two months later, threw caution to the wind and went all in. I arrived in Phoenix, Arizona with nothing but a ‘bag of rocks‘--(aka crystals), joined my Sweet Kiwi Man–(aka New Zealander), and began truck driving cross country. On this channel, we explore Top 10 lists on everything about Life on the Open Road and wanderlust in the USA; weird places, awesome roadside attractions, great hikes, unexpected gems, dive bars, what it's like living in 156" space, and more!
