This was a sticky mess and I didn't like it one bit! Give me sanding for days, dusty work and all, but glue is not for me, everything is stick, you can't touch anything, it makes such a mess, especiall when you're not sure what you're doing.... But hey the plywood is on, on for eternity and I am happy about it. Does it look neat, does it look pretty? - Let's not talk about it. It's going to get covered with fibergalss anyways :) Happy days! Lots and lots of car bog and lots of sanding to round the edges to make the fiberglass stick. So here we go, obviously the first batch of bog I mixed up went hard straight away and I only used maybe half of it. I totally underestimated how quick that stuff goes off... Small batches it is :) I am still a bit nervous when I think about the fiberglassing, I have never done it and I really want to do a good job, I want it to neat! I can not believe this is the final step on replacing the rotten deck! I've made it! I am so excited, I waited for this day for such a long time. All the hard work, and finally the deck will get finished :) I know I know it's only a small part of the whole boat progress and there is still so much more work that needs to be done, the list is long: new bulwarks, sanding-welding-painting the rail, fiberglass repairs on the main cabin, fixing leaking hatches, installing one new hatch, repainting the whole boat, underwater repairs on the prop shaft once the boat gets lifted again, changing the switchboard for the electronics and so much more.
