Seacocks are bronze valves in a boat and are used as a safety measure for closing off holes below the water line and keeping water out of the boat for either maintenance or emergencies. We have 4 total on Seawind, and one of them has been giving us trouble for the past couple of years. I cleaned and greased this particular seacock, and ever since, it’s seeped a bit of water into the boat. No Luxury tax. This Carver 38 Super Sport is really well equipped for extended cruising. The AB dinghy package has a 20 hp four stroke kicker is on an electric Sea Wise davit system. The bow thruster makes maneuvering a breeze. The bridge enclosure has all new windows and a glass front window with a wiper.
