Got the big fella in the bush! SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world. My radar fell off whilst sailing to the canaries, due to small rivets applied by pochon a sub contractor of the neel shipyard. This in turn required new cabling in the mast. One way or another the piping that holds the cables became buggered and then needed the mast to come off. I'm offering a no bull review of living with a new neel 51....i should mention to date that whenever there's a problem I do my absolute best to fix it myself. I'm rewarded by mostly arrogance from the shipyard or their sub contractors. Marina fees start to escalate while incompetence and arrogance remain at an all time high. This is typical of a La rochelle built boat i have been told. Thanks god the space and performance are good..... Since receiving the boat in August I have never been reimbursed for any money I spent on warranty repairs.

Trying to make a duck too close led to a collision between a Sonar and a J/24 during the last race of the Marblehead NOOD.
