Kate and Andrew just got married. Both are Long Islanders but had never been to Montauk until their honeymoon. We spent the end of their first full day as husband and wife roaring out to Gardiners Island and back. Andrew had never sailed before, but he was a natural, holding a steady course and surfing Mon Tiki down the larger waves like he was born to it!

With the launch of the Bestevaer 36 S/Y, we achieved another new milestone this week. We haven't built such a sustainable and compact yacht before. In the coming weeks we will be working hard on the finishing touch. The travel schedule for the next two months feel like a tour: First a test sail on the Wadden, then onwards to the jury days for the Yacht of the Year Innovation Awards, next up the launch at Hiswa in-water Boat Show, and then immediately on to Grand Pavois boat show in La Rochelle. Pictures and videos of the interior will follow later. В Средиземном море часто встречается рыба труба или рыба флейта, на мелкой воде обитают не очень крупные экземпляры обычно 300 - 500 гр и меньше, более крупная рыба около киллограма подходит к берегу на 4-5 метров, чтобы поохотится. Нам повезло сегодня. Рыба труба агрессивный хищник, который питается мелким анчоусом. Они пришли в Средиземное море из Индиийского океана, через Суэтский канал. Мясо Белое, чистое, вкусное поэтому крупные экземпляры желанный трофей рыбаков и подводных охотников.
