Kate and Andrew just got married. Both are Long Islanders but had never been to Montauk until their honeymoon. We spent the end of their first full day as husband and wife roaring out to Gardiners Island and back. Andrew had never sailed before, but he was a natural, holding a steady course and surfing Mon Tiki down the larger waves like he was born to it!

We finally get hold and jump in our tender Rocco while the other single hands SV Panda, our 1980 Amel Sharki ketch rigged sailing machine. We purposefully reefed down quite a bit just to keep boat speeds down in the 18kts of wind.
