A ce grattage de la coque du voilier succède un ponçage manuel à la cale. Ici au 80 à l'eau. Rinçage abondant est obligatoire. Préparer le marin à être bien trempé. Une préparation plus longue donne un meilleur résultat. Ici ce travail de grattage et de ponçage a été effectué en une journée. Notre voilier est un A35. Il est utilisé en école de voile, en sessions loisir ou sportives. Ce type de voilier course croisière est idéal pour l'apprentissage et le loisir. The priority for maintaining optimal VMG downwind in waves is to continue surfing. When required to gybe, whether due to your orientation to the course, tactics or wind change - maintaining speed on a wave is critical. Surfing keeps you moving down the course while completing the maneuver. The trick is to initiate surfing by doing a roundup. This allows you to bring extra sheet tension in while accelerating which allows you to gybe on a much deeper angle - hence maintaining connection on the wave. In this video, we've presented some basic steps to take to complete the surfing gybe.
