A ce grattage de la coque du voilier succède un ponçage manuel à la cale. Ici au 80 à l'eau. Rinçage abondant est obligatoire. Préparer le marin à être bien trempé. Une préparation plus longue donne un meilleur résultat. Ici ce travail de grattage et de ponçage a été effectué en une journée. Notre voilier est un A35. Il est utilisé en école de voile, en sessions loisir ou sportives. Ce type de voilier course croisière est idéal pour l'apprentissage et le loisir.
