ITALY: Boats Seen Stuck Against Bridge After River Bursts Banks in Turin | Latest News The flooding that swamped northern Italy on November 24 and 25 claimed two famous victims in Turin when a pair of tourist boats, described as ?symbols? of the city by La Stampa, were swept away by the surging River Po and crashed into a bridge. This footage shows the flooding and boats against the bridge. The boats are known as Valentino and Valentina, and, according to Repubblica, Valentina sunk after the impact. Sailboat Repairs; U-Bolts Installed. As we near completion for our major sailboat repairs-our excitement mounts. These are the U-Bolts that we had specially machined, here in Anacortes to hold our mast. They extend through the chainplates to the interior of our Sceptre 41. We plan to be sailing in about two weeks towards B.C., where we will be spending 2-3 months doing our 'shakedown cruise', before heading south.
