Tschüss 2 Claims IRC Super Zero Victory at the 2025 Rolex Fastnet Race Christian Zugel’s Tschüss 2 (USA70000), co-skippered by Johnny Mordaunt, has taken the win in the highly competitive IRC Super Zero division at the centenary edition of the Rolex Fastnet Race. The VO70 completed the iconic offshore course in an elapsed time of 2 days, 17 hours, and 21 minutes, crossing the finish line off Cherbourg at 05:11 BST on 29 July 2025. With a TCC of 1.617, Tschüss 2 corrected out to a final time of 4 days, 9 hours, and 40 minutes — edging ahead of high-calibre rivals including Roy Disney’s Pyewacket 70 and the 30m Leopard 3, skippered by Chris Sherlock. The win caps off an outstanding season for the former Groupama 4 VO70, originally skippered by Franck Cammas in the Volvo Ocean Race. The Raiatea Regatta Association To organize a yearly sailing party in the Leeward Islands of French Polynesia: that was the dream, twelve years ago, of the newly born Raiatea Regatta Association. Since then, the “TPR” has become the biggest sailing and festive regatta of the Pacific islands and a truly international nautical event. The Royal Ocean Racing Club is all set for the 15th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600, organised in association with the Antigua Yacht Club. Close to 65 teams are expected to be competing with 500 sailors from 26 different countries racing in a huge diversity of boats. Racing action starts with inshore courses for the RORC Nelson’s Cup Series on 13th February. At least 24 teams are expected to be racing in the series, which includes the Antigua 360 ‘Round Antigua’ race. The 600-mile offshore race, the RORC Caribbean 600, starts on 19th February. The overall winner is decided by the best corrected time under the IRC Rating Rule. Special prizes are awarded to Multihull and Monohull Line Honours, as well as the Class40 Division.
