The Anchor Hitch is a super knot which tightens on itself when load is applied. It is really simple to tie, all you need is two round turns. One over the top of the item you are securing your rope to and the second one on top of the first. The Anchor hitch will tighten on it self making it hard to undo after load has been applied, making it a great option for permanently securing your rope to an object. Adding the bight when you finish the anchor hitch makes it a lot easier to undo. The additional width of rope used to finish it with the bight is easy pulled out via the tail of the rope. If you are looking for a more details video to learn this not why not check out our long form version showing you how to tie an Anchor Hitch on a Bight. https://youtu.be/XO3rcZkDNWs If you are looking to learn additional options to secure your rope to a fixed object why not check out our fender knot play list which has a variety of options for you to consider. Trinidad was our Australian Shepherd's first experience of the jungle, and there's no doubt Rose loves it!! Near to where our sailing home is hauled out, there are some easy jungle trails that really showcase the natural beauty of Trinidad. This particular trail is the Covigne River Gorge, a hiking spot that takes you through the lush trees and tall bamboo, into steep gorges and up waterfalls. For a dog, it's a place to truly run wild and free! ______ After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran.
