This Aviation has: 2 ½ ounces of gin ¾ ounce lemon juice (fresh squeezed) ½ ounce Luxardo Liqueur ½ ounce Creme de Violette 1 Luxardo cherry (optional) 1 strip of lemon peel for garnish Place gin (I used Empress Indigo Gin!), Luxardo liqueur, and Crème de Violette, lemon juice, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake the cocktail shaker until the shaker is cold and the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Pour the cocktail in a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry and a strip of lemon peel. A little test-fire of the Cubic Mini Grizzly. The stove is mostly installed. I need to finish the ceiling trim and the heat shields behind the chimney. But, a quick fire during happy hour didn’t hurt anything. What a difference this stove makes to the comfort of a sailboat! Wow. I am really looking forward to getting it going in earnest…and the timing is perfect as the temps are going to be minus double-digits next week. 🥶
