One of the things I didn’t appreciate enough about Sint Maarten until I got there was how convenient everything was. So I decided to time it 😅 Starting at Island Water World and running to Budget Marine, I passed pretty much everything I needed on a daily basis. Chandleries. Grocery stores. Restaurants. Hardware stores. Marine services. And right in the middle of it all was Lagoon Marina. Which, after an Atlantic crossing, was pretty much the perfect place to be. Because let’s be honest... Every day I discovered something new to buy, fix, replace, repair, or “quickly check” 😅 Having everything within walking distance made life a whole lot easier. We were invited to meet some friends at Caura River and enjoy an afternoon lime with food, drinks and good company! We supplied the drinks and they brought an AMAZING Trinidadian goat curry with a 'Buss up Shut' roti (so good!).
