The Mizzen is a special sail and it has a lot of hidden uses. One is finding where the wind is coming from. Underwater area of sailing boat on video is covered with so called blanket. Last time bottom was cleaned about year ago. The idea is that on the so-called blanket, marine growth will be less caught, and what gets caught will be easy to remove. The result of the test is that a lot of marine growth was collected, which even the high-pressure washing could not remove. It had to be removed with scraper.
We like to say everyone has two ears and only one mouth for a reason. We believe it’s incredibly important to listen to our customers, take their feedback in how they use their boats everyday, and then learn what we can do to make the experience with friends and family even more special. We build our boats one-at-a-time for our customers based on what they are telling us would make the experience perfect. For more information, please visit: hinckleyyachts.com
I’m back in Hyōgo, walking through Toyooka — a place I once cycled with my family and our dog. Today I’m heading to Kyotango, known as Japan’s Capital City of Longevity and host of the recent Global Longevity Summit. I’ll be visiting a remarkable couple — he’s 97, she’s 92 — who still farm their land and run a guesthouse. Their story captures the spirit of lifelong purpose, movement, and community. Wish me luck — because it’s never too late to keep learning, and never too late to keep walking. #NeverTooLate #Longevity #Japan #Kyotango #Hyogo #HealthyAging #NeverTooLate #BlueZone #AgingWell #TravelJapan #FarmLife #Purpose #KeepWalking
