Yes, I am still working on the deck, still scraping and chiseling but I feel like I'm getting close, I really hope I don't jinx myself. While anchored in Gulfport Florida we got caught up in some really harsh weather but these particular 3 days where crazy! 35 knots sustained with over 40 knot gusts. Anchor held like a charm. 180 feet of 5/16 bbb chain with 1" nylon behind that with a 100 foot 5/8 nylon snubber.

What do you need to know to be a sailing cruiser?! You need to know how to use a bridle or snubber. This bit of kit removed the pressure from the windlass that the chain/anchor rode has on it. #sailinglife #sailingboat #sailing
