Regular viewers will know one of the things we've always wanted to do is moor the boat in winter in a place where we could easily go skiing. We came very close during our winter in Venice with the snow capped Dolomite mountains always in view from our mooring. Sadly that year we were scuppered by Covid which kept the ski resorts in the Alps closed all winter. Well this year we've cracked it! Porto Montenegro is a 2 hour drive to Kolasin, a really nice little skiing town high in the picturesque mountains, what's even better is the marina has their own ski chalet which we can book free of charge!

With the topping lift stuck at the top of the mast and and the spare halyard need for a kit peel the only option was to go up the mast and get it. Our bowman who is never one to do things by half decided the stop off for a quick pole walk on the way down to reconnect and grab the spare halyard had the team on Redline Racing back in the game.
