Una limpida giornata d'Agosto con rotta verso le secche della Meloria con vista sull'isola di Gorgona, ma il video non rende bene, la giornata era talmente limpida da intravedere sia la Corsica che l'isola di Capraia. video realizzato in mattinata con assenza di vento (patana), al contrario nel pomeriggio i veleggianti che non avevano mai toccato il timone si sono divertiti a far letteralmente volare la barca sull'acqua grazie ad un vento fino a 16 nodi. In the last weeks, our team put six bilge stringers to add strength and stiffness to the hull. For each one, we follow the same procedure: The first step is to create a template and transfer it to the carefully selected piece of oak, which we shape into form with circular saws, planers and sanders. Then our team uses a mix of linseed oil, tar and chalk to seal the gaps between the bilge stringer and frames.
