This catamaran has been sold. We wish the new owners many happy years aboard! This Fountaine Pajot Cumberland 44 has been thoroughly refitted in 2019/2020, is in great condition throughout and has never been used for charter. She is a sturdy trawler cat and her power is provided by two strong Volvo Penta diesel engines of 285 hp each that have been refitted in November 2020. Furthermore, equipped with a generator, inverter, solar panels, underwater lights, and at both helms a full Raymarine navigation package. Further to that, equipped with; a water maker, life raft, bimini, davits, covers, child-safe netting, exterior upholstery from 2019, etc. Obviously, this Fountaine Pajot Cumberland 44 has, thanks to her impressive beam of 6.55 meter, a voluminous interior. This is a cat you can live on as a second home. In fact, this is also a cat where you can live on permanently. The hulls comprise 4 double bed cabins, 2 toilet rooms and 2 shower rooms. Furthermore, the sofa and the table in the saloon can be converted into a huge bed. All interior upholstery, beds, and blinds have been renewed in 2019. Furthermore, she benefits from aircon throughout the boat which has been installed in 2021. Whether you are looking for a high-performance offshore passage maker, a comfortable cruiser, or a spacious liveaboard, she has it all.

The wooden frame to lift the engine with must be very stable. Test with your own body that it's completly stable in all directions. Used double lifting devices to make the engine to move sidewards. Used plywood and soft material to protect the opening of the entrance to the boat. Shifted to a support over the entrance to the boat to get the engine into the thunnel. It was surpricing easy to get the engine in the right position. Checked with feeler gaugh that it was perfect aligned with the straight axis. The engine supports are flat and the the adjustment plates are under the supports. Those had not been changed when the engine was lifted out of the boat. As the alignment was absolutely perfect, I do not expect to even have to check when the boat comes into water.
