It is the first storm of the season. Hurricane Agatha in the Pacific crossed Mexico into the Gulf (Now the Atlantic Hurricane region) and turned into Tropical Storm One. Heading right to us. It was weak, but you never know if it will stay that way as it moves over the warm Gulf of Mexico water. Ever ridden out a tropical storm or hurricane in your house or boat? The Greyhound is a typical Dykstra Naval Architects design, based on Gerry Dykstra's private Bestevaer. The aluminium hull will be build at KM Yachtbuilders over the next few months. It's being build for a Dutch family who has lots of sailing experience. In this video they are welding in the build number (098) themselves. A visible and lasting memory.
