It is the first storm of the season. Hurricane Agatha in the Pacific crossed Mexico into the Gulf (Now the Atlantic Hurricane region) and turned into Tropical Storm One. Heading right to us. It was weak, but you never know if it will stay that way as it moves over the warm Gulf of Mexico water. Ever ridden out a tropical storm or hurricane in your house or boat? When we sailed the Costa Brava in the northeast part of Spain, we enjoyed especially the bay of Begur, the village of Fornells and an area called Aiguablava. It has beautiful cliffs and little beaches. On the internet it said it’s a favorite among locals in Spain and it was weekend, so we saw a lot of families walking around or sitting on the beach. The background sounds that you hear on the boat during the day, of children playing and running around on the beach, adults talking and laughing and the smells of BBQ coming your way, gives a real holiday feeling!
