After anchoring at Brick Hill near Cumberland Island, we took about a 4 mile dinghy ride to the Plum Orchard docks. Once there, we hiked across the island to the most amazing beach with literally only 2 other people (way far away). We saw lots of birds, armadillos, a baby tortoise, and of course wild horses. We ❤️ this island/National Park. Spearfishing massive Yellowtail Amberjack in Western Australia. Guess what this one weighed in at? I dove down intending to just get footage of this huge school of massive Samson Fish. But as I got level with the school, I discovered it was only the front part of a larger school. The whole back portion was many more monster Yellowtail Amberjack. I waited for a clean shot, only just missing the brain. But this shot stuck hard and my spear let me use all the leverage I wanted to so I could pull in this massive fish solo without using any floats. . .
