What are we to do when we run up against nature’s deadly force, a dangerous exploding volcano? We’re circumnavigating Sulawesi on our 42 foot yacht discovering amazing places, living unbelievable experiences and meeting the most generous people on earth. A lack of wind couldn’t stop us, uncharted coral reefs couldn’t stop us, being rammed by customs officials couldn’t stop us but flowing lava, falling ash and the tsunami threat force a seismic change to our sailing plans.

The forecast called for light wind and a gentle swell. That wasn't what we got! We were stuck under a squall line and the wind slowly built. I stopped filming when the rain came. Of course when we got onto the Bahamas bank the sun came out and the sea was smooth.
