And then there were 6 🫣 Here’s a little fly-by picture reel of our second fur-baby Smidge 🐾 Rescued by Laura from under a green wheelie-bin at a teeny 500g - almost died of gastroenteritis but came back from the brink and never left (much to Ross’s initial disapproval 😂). We’ve had her a little while now but until we were completely confident she was suited to boatlife we kinda kept it schtum 🤫. Turns out she won’t leave the boat even if the windows and hatch are wide open but she does love to hang out during a spot of yoga on deck… Ronnie took her under his furry paws like nothing you’ve ever seen and their love is something else! Who else has rescue kitties on board and would pick take all the strays home if they could? 👩🏼🧔🏽♀️👦🏼🧑🏼🦰🐈🐈⬛🦋⛵️❤️
The 2021 Nautitech 40 Open owner version catamaran is a remarkable sailing vessel designed for those who appreciate both speed and comfort. It provides ample space for onboard living and exceptional stability. The vessel is suitable for various marine environments, including shallow waters. Inside, the catamaran features three cabins and two bathrooms, providing six fixed berths, with an option to convert the saloon table into additional sleeping space. Powering the Nautitech 40 Open are two Volvo Penta D1-30F engines, each delivering 30 horsepower, combined with a lightweight 550 Ah lithium battery system and 1185 watts of solar power. These features ensure the vessel's energy efficiency and independence, crucial for extended blue water cruising. Enhancements like Coppercoat antifouling and folding propellers further optimize performance. Additional onboard amenities, such as a water maker and a washing machine, underscore the vessel's commitment to self-sufficiency and long-term comfort. 15 courses in 12 seconds. Omakase: A sacred ritual of trust. Behind the wooden counter, there are no menus. Only the chef's knife and a tradition that spans generations. What is Omakase? In culinary anthropology, we view this as the pinnacle of the diner-chef relationship. It literally means "I'll leave it to you." It’s an authentic experience where you surrender your choice to the artisan cooking and seasonal expertise of the master. After 12 years of researching food heritage, I’ve realized that Omakase isn't about eating; it's about witnessing lost flavors and kitchen secrets in real-time. It’s a dialogue without words. Could you give up total control of your dinner to a chef? Tell me below! 👇
