The skills used at Hunter's Yard are both timeless and endangered, those of building and preserving hand-buit wooden boats of yesteryear. Many of the boats looked after by the yard are nearly a century old, but they still sail as if they were launched last week. 🔍 Did you know? LE VENDEE GLOBE, un tour du monde à la voile en solitaire Le Vendée Globe est une course à la voile autour du monde, en solitaire et sans escale. Un tour du monde à la voile, d’Ouest en Est, par les trois grands caps de Bonne Espérance, Leeuwin et Horn. Le point de départ et d'arrivée de la course: Les Sables d’Olonne. Le monocoque StMichel-Virbac construit au chantier Multiplast En avril dernier, Jean-Pierre Dick et ses partenaires annonçaient leur retour en monocoque avec l’objectif de participer aux épreuves du championnat Ocean Masters de 2015 à 2017, avec en point d’orgue le Vendée Globe 2016. StMichel-Virbac, dessiné par Verdier VPLP, sera construit au chantier vannetais Multiplast.
