Si torna in Italia! Si torna in Italiaaaaaaaa Ragazzi, julia non vede le coste italiane da quanto?! Era il giorno 41 quando abbiamo lasciato le coste sarde per fare rotta sulla Spagna. Quanta strada abbiamo percorso, quante cose sono cambiate… in fondo anche questo fa parte del gioco: ripercorrere la strada dell’andata e fare il punto, vedere quanto si è cambiati, quanto una cosa che all’andata ci intimoriva (come fare 250 miglia no stop) oggi rientra in piena confort zone. Questo ritorno porta con sé i suoi lati leggeri (come il ritorno a casa!) e quelli più riflessivi. Proprio così, un po’ siamo noi predisposti ai pipponi mentali e un po’ il mare agevola il surfare tra i pensieri e i ricordi. Che bella giornata ♥️ Voglio scriverlo nero su bianco per i momenti in cui tutto sembrerà più difficile, irraggiungibile. Nessuna grande scalinata è insormontabile. Un passo alla volta. Un gradino alla volta. A prestissimo Cami 🇮🇹🤍

It has been a year of expedited recovery and the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival hasn’t missed a beat. The stage is set for the 48thedition to begin on March 25-31, 2019. With slogans of “No Fear- Just Great Racing and Fun” as well as “Building BVI Back Bigger-Better -Stronger”, regatta director, Judy Petz said “The energy and spirit of sailing in the BVIs takes more than category five hurricanes to keep people from coming back to sail and race. We are open, ready, and excited to welcome sailors from around the world to come for the first time or back again.”

The clove hitch Along with the bowline and the sheet bend, it is often considered one of the most important knots to know. A clove hitch is two successive half-hitches around an object. It is most effectively used as a crossing knot. It can be used as a binding knot, but is not particularly secure in that role (we prefer the constrictor knot for these use cases). A clove hitch made around the rope's own standing part is known as either two half-hitches or buntline hitch, depending on whether the turns of the clove hitch progress away from or towards the hitched object. The Clove Hitch is the simplest and most effective knot for securing your fenders.
