The Elan Hindsight stretched out to a lead over over two minutes at the first mark during racing at the Quoile Yacht Club 2 Day Event after a great decision to gybe away from the fleet to head over to the Portaferry shoreline to get relief from the tide. The team on J109 Going to Red worked hard up the first beat to close the gap before gliding by into the lead with a textbook leebow about half way to the second racing mark. Schön, dass du hier bist! Wir, Emely und Tjark, haben uns den Traum vom eigenen Segelboot erfüllt, eine Maxi84, relativ spontan und ohne das ganz große Geld. Das Boot müssen wir noch umtaufen auf den Namen Meera. Wir nehmen dich mit auf unsere Reise von blutigen Anfängern zu hoffentlich passablen Seglern. Bevor wir uns in die Wellen stürzen können, liegt noch ein Berg an Arbeit vor uns. Umbauten, Änderungen und vor allem der Sportbootführerschein müssen erledigt werden.
