😱 Did you know? Venus flytraps don’t actually NEED you to hand-feed them to survive! They’re carnivorous but get most of their energy from photosynthesis — just like any other plant. The bugs they catch act more like a natural fertilizer (extra nitrogen & nutrients) that helps them grow bigger traps and stay extra healthy. ✅ If your flytrap is outdoors in full sun: It will catch plenty of flies, ants, and spiders on its own. You rarely need to do anything! ✅ Indoors: You can feed it occasionally (1-2 small bugs per month max, like a fly or bloodworm) if you want faster growth. But don’t overdo it — triggering too many traps wastes the plant’s energy. Pro tips for happy flytraps: • Use only distilled, rainwater, or RO water (tap water kills them with minerals) • Bright direct sunlight (or strong grow lights) — 8+ hours a day • Nutrient-free soil (peat moss + perlite mix) • Never use fertilizer! We had heard, that in between the 2 islands below Cannes, there would be a red catamaran with a flag with 'Pizza' on it. Yes, this was a boat where fresh pizzas were made and which you could! You could pick up the pizza yourself (you will receive a text message) or for € 5 your order will be brought to you on the boat with 1 of the 4 dinghies they have. We decided to pick the pizza up ourselves and eat it on the boat, you can watch us in this video picking up the pizza's. Delicious pizzas and great to see how they are made at the boat.
