One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. Hayley's school work is currently focused on persuasive texts. In her current module she was required to make an advertisement for Antarctic Ice. Hayley thought making a 30 second TV ad would be fun. Acting team was recruited (from another boat as well as ours) and the director set to work!
