Recently we completed a a rare GEM 💎 of a Point Defiance, with some custom woodwork that we just had to capture on camera. Still photos didn't do it justice, so we took walkaround video to show it in all its glory. This boat has now sold, but we wanted to capture its jaw-dropping custom wood inlay seats for posterity. Built with extensive customizations, this sailboat features lightweight kevlar composite construction, wood trim with decorative rope bumper, deep "endeavor blue" gelcoat stripe with gold and white pinstriping, and incredible detailing on the custom wood seats. Just look at that custom "swirl" woodwork around the mast step! The 12' Point Defiance is a versatile sailing and rowing boat, very forgiving and a true pleasure to row and sail. Die erste Segeltour mit unserem neuen Boot liegt hinter uns. 🥰⛵🙌🏼 Wir waren zwar insgesamt nur 9 Tage unterwegs, konnten in der Zeit aber doch schon so einige Orte hier in der Nähe sehen und vor allem Haehaa richtig kennenlernen. Von perfekten Gennaker-Bedingungen zu Gegenan-Kreuzen. 💨⛵ Von ruhigen Buchten vor wunderschön bergigen Kulissen zu unfassbar schwelligen Ankerbuchten.🏞️🌊 Von malerischen kleinen Dörfern zu Touriströmen und Superyachten.🏡⛴️ Von Tagen, die sich angefühlt haben wie Sommer zu Regen und Gewitter.☀️⛈️ Irgendwie hatten diese 9 Tage von allem etwas und ganz ehrlich? Alles andere hätte uns auch fast schon gewundert. Denn das Leben an Bord wird einfach immer wieder von genau diesen Kontrasten bestimmt. J109 Going to Red on the way back to the Bar Buoy in the annual curtain raiser to the annual narrows series on Strangford lough. After getting off to a fast start in the strongest current GTR held the lead around the first 3 marks before Elixir took the lead on the run back to the Bar Buoy. The crew on GTR caught a few decent waves to close the gap, once they were on the stern of Elixir all the needed to do on the way home was stay close, with a minute per hour on the leading boat on Handicap they only needed to stick close to take the Bar Buoy Race on corrected time.
