And we’re off! 🌎 Today marks the start of our passage across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Light winds made for a slow start, but nature put on a show—dolphins, small whales, and even turtles, some swimming upside down! We checked to make sure they were okay, and luckily, they were. With the wind dying, we’ll be motoring through the night, but a big highlight was testing our spinnaker setup for the first time. After months of hard work, we’ve finally reached the final days of our major sailboat refit! 🛠️ In the final days we move the boat to the ramp, replace the prop shafts, install brand new Flexofold propellers, apply a fresh coat of antifoul, and finally — relaunch our home back into the water! It’s been a huge project getting our aluminum catamaran ready for the next adventure, and this moment makes it all worth it.
