Checking expiration dates on key boating safety equipment is critical as you head back out on the water this year. While it's important to check expiration dates because its the law, ultimately doing this quick check is critical for the safety of you and your guests. For example, pyrotechnic flares expire 42 months after date of manufacture and have an expiration date stamped on them. Fire extinguishers now must be replaced at least every 12 years. And even automatic inflatable life jacket bobbins need to replaced regularly. The chines common to all Faursail models are retained, but this time the hulls come from molds. The Treasy 4.0 is a compact, lightweight, sporty yet forgiving trimaran. Large rigid wings replace the traditional trampolines. On board, it’s all about thrills and spills with ease. In a good breeze, the Treasy is capable of hitting 12 knots close-hauled and flirts with 18-20 knots off the wind.
