Catana built her for her original owner, who had previously circumnavigated on a Catana 582. Taking the knowledge learned on that circumnavigation, he met with the Catana's designers and builders to develop one of the most luxurious bluewater cruising catamarans ever launched. Her current owners purchased her in Spain and moved her to the same areas of France where she had been built to complete an extended refit. In Canet-en-Roussillon over 5000kg of weight was removed that has greatly improved her performance. Another 1000kg of weight was removed in 2024 with the changeover to Lithium from AGM. Some of her key features and recent upgrades include: - Lithium battery bank - Over 10,000 watts of custom-installed solar, including a custom carbon fiber array - The mast was stepped, painted, and fully serviced - New kevlar shrouds - New mainsail - New jib sail - New water maker membranes - New Hatches (6X) - New tender w/ Yamaha outboard - And so much more Contact us for additional photos and videos of this impressive performance of the catamaran.
